This coming week Scott Newton, missionary on deputation to Spain, will be teaching an OGTC module course. Scott trained at the OGTC for three and half years before leaving for deputation. Scott was a missionary kid from an early age and a Bible college graduate. But Scott knew he needed more training so in January of 2007 Scott and his wife Melissa moved to Alpharetta, GA to study at the OGTC. It wasn’t always easy for the couple, but they stayed faithful, worked a job, went to class, and did ministry.
Scott and Melissa have been used of God greatly here at Vision Baptist Church and are extremely missed. Scott will be teaching Comparative World Religions on August 20-23.
