July has been an exciting month here at the Our Generation Training Center. It is not very often that the students get a break around here, but for the first week of July they were given the first week of July off to recuperate after months of class, orientation, and camps.
On July 11-14, Missionary Micah Rastelli taught on the Biblical Theology of Missions. This course was designed so that the student would understand the theology of missions. They went through George W. Peters book. It was a great class; I had the honor to sit in on the last day of class. Students learned everything from the call to missions to God’s heart shown throughout the Scripture.
The following week Sam Wilson taught on Jewish Evangelism. It was a great class for the students. They learned that God’s love for His people hasn’t gone away and that the early apostles were concerned for Jewish people to hear the gospel. It is our desire that, as the students go out to the uttermost, they will be prepared to share the gospel with everyone.
The following week was a highlight week in this Training Center year. We were able to get Morris Proctor for Logos to come and spend two eight-hour days teaching the students, missionaries, and some local pastors on how to prepare messages on Logos bible software. It was a honor for Morris Proctor to take time out of his schedule to teach this next generation of missionaries.
If you haven’t applied to go to the OGTC, please consider what your role is in seeing this generation reached with the gospel.
